Chasing Aurora

These images were stitched in response to my experience at the SIMs Artist Residency in Iceland.

I stayed there for the month of November on the edge of Reykjavik, immersed in the dramatic landscapes and the long evenings, which was perfect for searching for the Northern Lights.

We were incredibly lucky to witness a spectacular event seeing lines of green and pink lights weave their ways across the heavens, along with the vibrant green moss on lava fields and the striking contrasts of white ice and black stone, soft moss and hard lava fields.
