“We are now ready to start cutting into our garment by using our sewing patterns. In this part of your project, you want to make sure you use all the material that you can. You will be moving your pattern around to make sure that we use all the denim material and that we have very little waste at the end. The grain of the fabric does matter when you are making clothing pieces. However, for this project and for things such as bags or backpacks, it doesn't really make a difference because we will be reinforcing with interfacing and we really are trying to work with what we have.
