Wow! You have a lot of variation in your drawings, but still have your own style and courage to use color! Very very nice!

@vioh1 Thank you very much! I am really happy to receive feedback on my work.
Although I don't feel like I have a style myself, I'm sure I'm happy with many colors on paper! : P
Have an excellent day!

Teacher PlusHi Viridiana,
What lovely illustrations you've made! I too really love the colors you've used, so vibrant!
It does feel a bit like you are being inspired by other illustrators. I can see some Maru Godas for example.
If you want to find your own style I would advise you to draw from observation as much as possible. It may take a while but after some time you will develop your own voice, your own way of depicting reality.
Maybe also try to sketch a bit more. Make mistakes. Make ugly drawings. In your sketchbook not every page needs to be perfect. When we experiment we grow. Step out of your comfort zone!
Good luck, and have fun!

@sarahvandongenillustration Hi! I actually took a course with Maru Godas, I think you're right that I don't have my own style, it was hard for me to find it but I will continue drawing to find my artistic voice as soon as possible. Thank you so much for taking the time to write me and give me such helpful advice (constructive criticism is rare nowadays).
Thanks! Have an excellent day!

@kudla_on_board Thank you! I love the bright colors! I only use the color wheel to find fun combinations (I almost always use complementary colors or a harmonic gamut with a little bit of a complementary color) and it usually works well for me. ;)

Oh, wow. I so love your drawings, they look just so awesome and really make me happy looking at. So much inspiration. I have drawn all my life, but due to cancer in 2017 I stopped creating. My energy level was so low...it really took almost 4 years to recover from surgery and get back to being able to enjoy creating again. Thats why I started this and a few more courses here.
I picked up my pencil again just a few weeks ago, it still is so hard to come back to daily drawing, but seeing your colourful and happy work, really made me want to start again.
