There's a couple of different types of perspective, There's linear perspective, which involves lines, as the name implies. And there's atmospheric or planar perspective, which has more to do with tones of color. Linear perspective is at the heart of what we do when we're painting and sketching architecture. One of the hardest things to do is to translate a three-dimensional object onto a two-dimensional page.
