“Rendering Now that we've gone over the fundamentals of sketching and how to light our subjects as well, I want to go over how to include detail, texture and values. When we're adding value and volume to our forms, there's a couple of different ways to approach it. Here let me use these three different cylinders. On this first one here... I'm gonna follow this direction, the Y-axis, to add some value. So, I'm just going to be making all my strokes following that direction.
