“In our last lesson, we talked about materials. Now, we're going to get started with hoop prep. First, let's go ahead and unscrew our embroidery hoop. We want to gently unscrew the top, just so that the inner ring pops out from the outer ring. We'll take our inner ring, lay it flat on the table, take our fabric, lay it right on top, and then take our outer ring and sandwich the three pieces together. Once we have them together, we're going to gently tighten the top screw. And as we do that, we also want to tug the fabric along the edges, to make sure it's nice and taut inside the hoop frame....”
