“In this lesson, I will show you how to build an armature to support your portrait. There's many different ways to build an armature, and this is just one which I've been using since I've started to sculpt portraiture. But there's other types with aluminium wire, which will also do the same job. But why we use an armature is because the portrait we're making of weight. And if we wouldn't have any structure under it or any support under it, it might be able to collapse. And this is just a way to make sure that we really have a stable portrait without any problems during our sculpting process....”
